Offline voice session delivery checklist
A deliberate last pass catches more than a hurried folder glance.
- Confirm script and recording authorization.
- Download a fresh project checkpoint.
- Verify every required cue uses the current script revision.
- Select exactly one take for every required cue.
- Resolve or explicitly hold every pickup round.
- Review expected filenames and all collision findings.
- Choose the intended local WAV/AIFF files for preflight.
- Review missing, duplicate, unexpected, and header-difference findings.
- Freeze the delivery metadata.
- Verify the real audio, transfer, receipt, and acceptance outside the browser.
Worked example
Run the checklist against the sample and it stops at four separate points, which is exactly what a checklist is for. Verify every required cue uses the current script revision, and C017 fails. Select exactly one take for every required cue, and C055 fails. Resolve or explicitly hold every pickup round, and P02 fails. Review expected filenames and all collision findings, and C090 fails on the reserved name while the C-071 and C_071 pair fails on normalization.
Four stops in ten steps, in a project that looks complete from the folder. A hurried glance at a directory listing would have shipped all four.
Method
The checklist is deliberately ordered so that each step can only fail for its own reason. Authorization and backup come first because they are cheapest to fix early. Revision currency comes before selection, because selecting against a stale revision is a wasted decision. Filenames come before preflight, because a folder comparison against wrong expected names produces noise instead of findings.
The last step is outside the browser on purpose. Verifying the audio, the transfer, the receipt and the acceptance is work the product cannot do for you.
What this does not do
- Completing every step does not certify the delivery.
- The checklist cannot confirm the files you sent are the files you checked.
- It cannot confirm the recipient can open, use or accept them.
